I am considering an Acer which has the video card: Mirage 2 integrated graphics 128MB.

    Also a 1024MB DDR RAM and a AMD Turion 64 ML-32 1.8GHz.

Now the price is really good, but i want to be able to play games, not the newest 3d but still games like TotalWar Rome or WOW.

Well, my main question is if the Mirage 2 integrated graphics 128MB will be able to handle them or is it good only for web browsing. It has a 128MB!! And yeah it is integrated......so is it ok? 10x in advance.

I doubt it will be able to handle WOW and Total War. From what Ive heard its pretty weak. The minimum for GPU to run those games would have to be a X300 or X1300 or a 7300. If the deal is really good, then get the notebook, but if you really want to game, then look for somewthing with more power.

    Good luck

Unfortunately, anything Mirage 2 will not be suitable for gaming. I have one and I'm glad to say my new Inspiron w/X1400 is two days away.

I can barely run Homeworld 1 on this machine, and I can confirm that wow runs, but with graphical corruption that makes it not worth playing. So, until wednesday - I can only play WC3 on this laptop.

Unless you are using 2D, PLEASE FOR THE LOVE OF GOD, get something else.

You won't be able to play any 3D games on SiS integreated graphics . .they ar the worst you can buy. I would avoid any notebook with those grahpics.

As covered in my gfx charts under "every other integrated GPU" it just so happens this sits towards the bottom of that pile ^^.
