Hello guys, I have very bad problem with recorders.
I used other recorders (Fraps, Bandicam and LoiLo) but I get in-game lag but no lag on videos.
But with these two I get no FPS drops in-game but video lag.
With Mirillis Action! with NVIDIA NVENC or Intel Quick Sync Video even onto max quality I get pixelated video.
Into DxTory the quality is awesome, no in-game lag but same problem like Mirillis Action!.
Also I record into Mirillis Action! with 30FPS.
I've tried on playing a game with solid 60FPS (GTA SA with SA-MP client) but still video lags.
I've tried with Mirillis Action! onto GTA V, GTA SA and Battlefield 3, but still same.
Is there a fix for the video lag and Mirillis Action! bad quality??

Back when i used Dxtory to record gameplay i had issues with my videos stuttering because of me playing the game at 60fps while i recorded at 30fps. Locking the game framerate to 30fps when recording helped greatly. As for Mirillis Action! i only tried it briefly but to me the video quality with NVENC did not deliver, no matter how much bitrate i threw at it or lowering the resolution.
As for Bandicam i cant say i had any issues with lower FPS while recording. Since i got a Maxwell based GPU now i use NVENC with CBR (Constant Bitrate) at 100 mbps. Kepler hardware should be fine if you set it to 50 mbps. You should also try turning on "Enable write caching on the disk" located under the Output tab in the Advanced Options window. -
Still same bad videos but and stuttering has begin in-game because of the settings you said me to enable.

Your that ULV i3 guy again.. Your system doesn't have enough CPU power and when you record, it uses CPU cycles... That is why you are lagging.. Honestly, stop doing this stuff... Honestly, next time I see a thread of you whining about lag, I'm going to report you..

No wonder you getting lag issues if you want to do proper game recording with a dual core ULV i3. You just dont have enough raw CPU power available. My current system uses a i7 4710HQ + 980M and my old notebook got the i7 2960XM + 680M.
Neither setup really struggles with game recording unless i choose to use a lossless codec like lagarith or MagicYUV as i dont have access to a storage medium fast enough to store 1080p60.
Below i added a link to my Dropbox so you can check out the source quality i get with my Bandicam settings i listed above. In that example i used around 1150MB to record nearly 4 minutes of 1080p60 video not including the audio tracks.
Video clip is inside a .zip container to stop it from being streamed from the Dropbox video player. -
What the hell, I was playing GTA SA with SA-MP client in the stunt server I play, and the FPS is 60 solid (only Shadows off because lag becomes when Shadows and GTA SA's AA is on, it makes Shadows more softer), so I was thinking it was problem from that the recording FPS is 30 and I was right.
I switched Mirillis Action! to 60FPS record and no stuttering, nothing.
Awesome quality and brilliant speed.
So it has to do something with game's FPS.
I'm thinking that's happening because the game is 60FPS and the video is 30FPS.
Now I'll try to play GTA V with Frame Locker and Half Refresh Rate, maybe there should be same FPS.
Like into Battlefield 3 I get 45-55 FPS and the video is much more smoother than recording into GTA SA.
And It's NOT my damn processor, I know that It's not that good, but Mirillis Action! is using lower CPU power. -
The video is corrupted or something, not working.

Video should play just fine unless it got corrupted when downloading. If you lack any codecs to play it back i recommend grabbing CCCP. As for the video stuttering you encountered, if Action! works at 60fps for you then go for it.

Now the video works, thanks.
But does if my game has lower FPS than 60 and if I put record to 60 is going to have stuttering on the video again?? -
While im no expert it should just duplicate frames if it goes below 60fps. If you need to lock the framerate i suggest checking out this page.
