Yes you can use physx but it lags to hell.
-
i got 14fps at 1920x1080 all high with physx on, 60 with it off
and yes i got the game and yes it is gawwwwjus -
The details in the textures are just awesome. I'm looking forward to the sequel.
-
I remembered playing this and the physx slowed it down so much i ended up turning it off completely, shame because physx was fun to mess with,
Also, Vicious, I have always been curious, what do you do for a living? I was just wondering if it had anything to do with computer science.... -

For a living,.. not so much computer stuff.
That is what I do for a hobby.
Just never got myself in the right place to do what I am good at for a living.
Maybe later in life when my kids get older. -
love mirrors edge!
great graphics , great story.
while playing however i always thought how much cooler it would be if we could see faith do her acrobatics from a third person perspective instead of first person -

Phsyx lowers fps to 5

whats going on ?!? physx failing on an SLI nVidia setup? -

3D on the other hand more than halves the frame rate. goes straight from 45-61 to 20-30... Terribly unfortunate, because the game looks so fantastic in 3D. -

No trouble here running with PhysX enabled on XPS M1730 8800m GTX SLI at 1920x1200, rarely drops below 40 fps with PhysX enabled.
-
PhysX doesn't add much to the game. Most of the time it's only noticeable in side-by-sides screenshots. So if you want to save about 10-20 fps, go ahead and disable it.
Mirrors edge is just beautiful.
