Fraps reports that i have average 50 FPS, but when i move or turn or do anything it feels like i have 3-4 FPS. the background is especially laggy. like when i turn around things in the background lags like crazy and it makes the game unplayable. I tried going from min to max settings but the result is still the same.

Anyone else had this troubble with mirrors edge?

    Turn off Phisix

For me with an ATI card it drops from 60fps to like 5 so it may be causing issues for you too.

Its turned off in game. The game is smooth but not smooth, i mean i do get average 50 FPS, but something is not right. Its like my screen update a new background picture twice every second. Looks very strange

I would try different drivers, though I seem to recall I had an issue similar once and forgot what I had to do to fix it. Some tweak/fix or maybe I just changed drivers.

This is a game I actually played only on my desktop and did an eyefinity hack for it, so the game is very demanding when playing 5760x1200

i see now am using 195.62 Dox drivers. When u run staright the game seems fine, but when i turn left or right in a smooth movement the buildings and objects far away is lagging very very much.

Should i try new 260.xx drivers?

I tried enable physics and my FPS didnt even drop anything :D but does not matter when the game is unplayable like this.

Cant hurt to try. Also if you have AA on try to turn that off. I seem to recall that being a issue in that game.
