Are there any MMORPG's that don't have elements of fantasy such as magic and monsters?

Have you tried Auto Assault? It's basically an mmorpg but with cars instead. I've never tried it but it does have a free trial.

    Planetside.
Its a MMOFPS, 3 sides competing for territory. Theres also the Matrix online.
You wont find many MMORPG's though without magic and monster.

This list might be helpful. Check those historical and real life Mmorpgs in that list. Also some scifi mmorpgs might not have magic or monsters.

    "monsters" aren't fantasy, are they?

Anyway, Eve Online would be a good bet. The gameplay is pretty different though, so you may or may not like it.
Anarchy Online is sci-fi, but still has magic-like stuff. (They don't call it magic though)
Ryzom is science-fantasy, I guess. Still has magic, but it's not the usual "orcs and elves and dragons" setting. It also has (wooden) guns and spaceships. :D

World War 2 Online is an mporpg. http://www.wwiionline.com very sine game where you really need to coordinate and coopirate with other people, or you will not be able to do much good. The world is reacriated in the scale 1 to 2 (means that if in real life it would take 40 minutes to travel from A to B, in game it would take 20 min) and stuff has realistik damage model (tanks, cars, planes, ships, guns). The west europ is reacriatade with a alots of towns and so on. Anyway, very nice simulator, i do recomend it very much.

Does City of Heroes count as monsters and magic? Probably.

go to power game station....and look under mmorpg. There should be a game called space cowboy. It's a mmorpg centered around space ship flying - its free - no magic and monsters i think.
