Mobile Cats 10.9 are not gonna be released because of a PowePlay issue they had/caused.
Theres not gonna be a fixed 10.9 version- AMD is going to skip this release and go straight to 10.10 next month

Good to know.
Personal, I have had zero issues with 10.7. So unless they give a good performance bump, I doubt I'll upgrade for awhile. -
they released ccc 10.9 for windows xp and vista only and none for mobility drivers

I had a powerplay issue with 10.7, none with 10.8
the issue was "oh hey, we just unplugged the battery and/or swapped to the intel gpu and back, now the card is stuck at 300/300 clocks until you turn powerplay off and on" I'm kinda glad that issue is gone. Don't want it to be back and 10.8 is working really nicely for me. So *shrugs*
fix it in 10.10 ati -

At least they caught a bug before they released the drivers this time.

I've found I like the 10.8's better than 10.7. More stable, and they feel slightly faster. Not the little stutters I've seen in the 10.7's, at least on my 5830.

That sucks. Hopefully the 10.10s will offer some much-needed SC2 and Plants vs Zombies improvements for my card.
-
I just installed 10.8 not too long ago... I don't feel like chaning drivers every month.
-
so... if my ati card does not support powerplay i can install the 10.9 without worries?
hmmm... time for some fun

that's how i feel.
Same thing.. barely been a week but the HDTV overscan issue is irritating.. really want a fix for that each time i have to set the overscan when i connect to the HDTV.. ATI fail this time brb.. -
PowerPlay used to bring my 4670 down to 300/300 but now only brings it to 300/400 (or 300/800 on battery). This causes more juice to be used and makes my laptop run hotter.
