I am looking at the Vostro 1500 - 8600M GT 256, but the have not had one of those in stock at the Dell Outlet sub 600 US for about a week or two....

I am looking at the Dell outlet at their Studio 15 - 1536 notebook as an alternative and I am just curious how well the HD3200 would do in:

Team Fortress 2 and CounterStrike Source?

The hd3200 would do fine but the 8600m gt is at least 3 time more powerful. I would sa go for the vostro 1500.

There are better options for GPUs than the 8600m GT on the 15" Vostro, Asus has a strong card in one of their 14-15" models coupled with competitive pricing. Check the graphics sticky for more info.

I would expect that Asus would have better cards but my budget is around 650 CAD.
