Mobility Radeon X1800/X1900 Screenshot Thread

well, I figured since every other GPU has their own screenshot thread, why not have one for ATI's high end mobile GPU. i mean even the GMA 950 has one. so if anyone has a MR X1900 pls post some screenies and show ur support for ATI.

 

Do you mind if we make this X1800/X1900 screenshot thread? I'm afraid there are an extremely limited number of MR X1900 owners on this forum - it is simply a rare GPU.

 

go for it chaz. ur the man so do what u need to do to make this thread grow. hopefully some people post up.

yeah that is odd. they kind just skipped to the Geforce 7 series. but anyways, post up some screen shots.

 

i dont think anyone has that card. i never even knew ati made a mobility x1900...

 

well there are a handful of people on this site. and i figured if i made this thread it would unite us in ATI goodness. ROFL. but yes they do make an MR X1900 and it is offered in Fujitsu notebooks, Alienware, and i believe Ibuypower does too. but as chaz stated, it is a rare GPU.

can you include the X1950. i think they were sold dual though. So it would be Dual X1950's

 

i really dont care what gets posted. i just wanted to see what other peoples level of detail was in games compared to mine. i will try and upload some pics but it will take some time. i need to make a photobucket account and then it will take like 29 hours to upload the pics cause im on satellite internet that is equal to dial up

ok i dun think im gonna be able to post screen shots. the picture sizes are freaking huge. 3.7MB? that would take me like 2 hours to download. and to upload? um any suggestions?

 

you can post 3.7 meg files anyway. convert the files to jpg using your tool of choice.

well so far its going really crappy, cause there are no screen shots.

 

ok i got some pics of Condemned Criminal Origin and Oblivion. i only took a few to experiment with the actual posting of the screen shots.

Condemned is Running @ 1440 x 900 with everything on max, besides full screen fx, soft shadows on, vsync





Oblivion is running @ 1440 x 900 with everything on besides AA, max AF (or specular distance), medium interior and exterior shadows, shadow filter on high, HDR, all the goods.

 

Here you are settings for call of duty 2 followed by fps

I think the fps was locked at no more than 60fps...because even on the menu screen it never went higher

I also did a test for fear...it was a while ago but im 95% percent sure it was at these settings and here was the results from the test (test settings)

sunjoon r u overclocked? just wondering what ur core and mem speeds are. cause i get like really bad fps in fear.

 

no not overclocked...stock (which i believe is exactly the same)...i think shadows could be on medium...see the thing is i lost all my saves and had got near to the end now cant be bothered to play it...i had those screens shots from a while ago so i dont know...but i will try fear this weekend with fraps and see what kind of fps im getting...also got lost planet so will try that too....

ok here are a few pics of farcry. running @ 1440 x 900, everything "very high", 6x AA and 4x AF. i couldnt figure out how to get 16x AF i dunno it was weird.

well farcry is like 4 years old, but i guess its good performance. especially since vsync is on in all my pics but i need a better notebook so i can get 60fps and never drops. it will probably be that way with my desktop. SPENDING 5K ON A DESKTOP OH YEAH AND BUILDING IT MYSELF. sorry went a bit off topic.

lol he obviously isn't in the beta program. he got that screenshot from somewhere, and drew 60 in the upper right hand corner in ridiculous green squiggily lettering. obvious joke.

you can post screen shots of the quake wars beta. its no biggie. its an open beta.

depends on the license agreement in the software i guess. i can't imagine that even crysis would really care if *gasp* screen shots got out (as long as they weren't negative - showing off glitches or something). screen shots add hype. now, if a build of the game got out, then they might raise hell.

It seems to me that the Fujitsu Siemens x11546/1554 models are some of the few notebooks that come with a high end ATI GPU. Maybe someone should advertise this thread in the Fujitsu board . Anyway I'll post some screenies from quake4 and CoH and maybe Call of Juarez (Oblivion would be so clichè )

 

Here's some shots from Dark Messiah of Might and Magic taken with Mobility Radeon X1800, which is of course a bit weaker than X1900, but can still give quite impressive results. My system specs are in the sig, except the memory, which is upgraded to 2GB.

In-game video settings used (most at their max):
Resolution - 1440x900 (=native), Model Detail - High, Texture Detail - Very High, Shader Detail - High, Water Detail - Simple Reflections, Shadow Detail - High, Gfx Detail - Medium, AA - None, AF - 8x, Vertical Sync - Off, HDR - Full

hey just curious but what are ur default clock speeds for ur MR X1800? i hear that they are around 500-550MHz

 

No, they are same as for the X1900 in Fujitsu-Siemens laptops: core 398 MHz and memory 468 MHz. When playing demanding 3D games, I always overclock my card to clocks announced by ATI as defaults for X1800: core 450 and memory 500.
