    Mobility™ Radeon® X700

    I'm going to buy acer aspire 1691WCLMi notebook which has MRx700 , I wonder if it could handle Doom 3 or Farcry, can anyone help me , please!

    I haven't specifically researched the exact Acer model, but assuming it has at least a decent cpu, such as a 1.5 ghz Pentium M or similar (I'm sure it does), it should be able to run both of those games not at the highest settings, but at medium settings that won't distract from the gaming experience. Oh, and remember that the more RAM the better--I would recommend a bare minimum of 512 meg (1024 if possible), because 256 meg is pretty much occupied with Windows itself. That Mobility Radeon x700 is a pretty darn good card, just a step down from the absolute best available in notebooks.
