    Tested and working as Intended.. :vbthumbsup: I enjoy the same positive performance that I was getting it from XG drivers and lighter version (more POOP is removed!) and no more disabling driver signature enforcement :newpalm:

    My feedback:


    1. I DDU'd old (legacy XtremeG) driver and I tried to install the 417.75 DCH from Pure soft to see .... but it says incompatible blah blah ... I tried to Google, but found very little info and everybody happy installing it (any DCH) LOL


    2. Tried installing Pure Soft legacy 417.75 driver, all is good (no disabling signature needed) but I get no Nvidia control panel after right clicking on desktop. So I went to Device manager, there is an icon, but after clicking on it I get:

    So, basically, I have no way to set my games as I want.


    3. Good news #1: Your driver works flawless, no need to stop and disable telemetry in services.msc and there are no 8-10 startup items as in XtremeG/default Nvidia drivers, which I have to disable manually in CCleaner.

    4. Good news #2: Your driver lets me go 1721 MHz @ 0.812 V and +350 memory stable.


    XtremeG crashes at this setting, have to use 1703 MHz @ 0.812 V and +350 memory.

    Keep it coming, please, on my laptop your driver plays the best so far.

    For now DCH driver must be uninstalled directly in safe mode using DDU. Otherwise older remnants are left behind! I've pinged wagnard. If you have time you should put up a log to prevent OLED based AW from being put in black screen.

    I used j95's 417.71 DCH driver and just installed PureSoftApp driver. DCH driver gave me incompatible error o_O so I have to installed legacy driver and it went smoothly. Will test and give feedback later.

    I am unable to delete this one, it is related to Intel Graphics Conntrol Panel I believe.

    I am on latest Intel DCH driver 6519 and I just installed it over the previous 6471 DCH driver.

    Re. Intel Graphics driver and DDU and OLED terrible relationship .... LOL

    I can write to wagnaard what happened 2x after Safe mode IGPU cleanup with DDU, however I have no logs, I can DOOM my laptop in April update as I will surely clean install, and then, if I connect to external screen, I can get back to desktop and pull out a log of DDU.

    This I can do, but at the moment, I have no more info re. the 'sure blackest OLED screen on the planet LOL'.

    How do you clean install win 10 ISO w/o integrating OLED driver? Does it black screen that time as well?

    I never use DCH drivers :) I'm using all legacy drivers due to My debloated Windows 10 doesn't have MS Store :Dso I never really could test DCH drivers :)
    It works with me fine without disabling driver signature enforcement :) I think the problem is at your end.... the PureSoft drivers automatically imports it own certificate key file first before launching Nvidia installer to avoid disabling driver signature enforcement ;) Try running as an administrator account... maybe this is the problem :)

    Good question. New Windows 10 install ... it simply works re. screen. On top of it I also install 9 Mb Dell OLED driver off their driver support.

    Unless I DDU Intel Graphics driver, all is fine.

    He (Puresoft) asked XG developers permission to use there tweaks while using his own certificate to sign it... I don't think he is up to something... even though I have checked the files thoroughly and I know exactly how to differentiate between a fraud or fake drivers & proper drivers... :)

    lol... I even exposed alot of information related or regarding to Intel DPTF drivers without any kind of documentation or very rare little available documentation.. ;) :cool: see my signature for more info. :)

    It is your choice after all :)

    Which means OLED panel is unnecessary and Dell BIOS variable for GOP is buggy. I hope you uninstall both Intel and Nvidia drivers just once w/o rebooting Win 10, correct?

    Anyone can self sign or create a certificate, there's no issue there. If in doubt, check the machine or web address embedded in Certificate to verify if its genuine or not!

    I actually installed them by unzipping the file, and ran the setup.exe directly, maybe is because of that.

    BTW do you know if its possible to disable optimus and run with just the nvidia gpu? I wanna try the g-sync option

    yes.. it is because of that :) you need to just download and launch the .exe file directly.. don't extract or do anything else :) it will extract by itself and after finishing the setup.. it will automatically delete the extracted files ;)

    If your laptop has Optimus, that's not possible because all display data is routed through the integrated GPU.

    Ok here is what they do on every driver :) I got the list from there dead website http://tweakforce.com by using http://web.archive.org/ ;)
    XG drivers are tweaked to improve image quality and stability while performance may increase or decrease slightly depending on your system specs. A few XG registry tweaks include mods to the following:

    Paletted Textures In Video Memory
    Render Quality Flags
    Target Flush Count
    Texture Clamp Behavior
    Texture LOD Bias
    Use Cached PCI Mappings
    Texture Memory Space
    Downloaded Memory Space
    Texture Precache
    UMA Fast Frame Buffering
    Main 3D rendering
    Triple Buffering
    Any more information you want to know.. ask them.. :)
    Here's what I observed comparing between official ones vs XG...
    -Less microstutters
    -Higher OC Potential (Gives me additional 50 ~ 90 MHz more OC) with the same overvolt (I use +75mv) going higher voltage gives me black screen
    -Higher FPS [Not significant-(YMMV)] (due to less stuttering I guess you feel that you are playing at higher frame rate :D)
    -Less latency per a frame (Means smoothie gameplay) ;)

    Why did you update to latest version if earlier version works fine? I didn't see any fixes for Maxwell GPUs in their changelog.

    I didn't :) but I can't provide any modded drivers without being tested on my own laptop :) and also other people have Kepler, Pascal, rtx, etc... ;)

    EDIT: ok sorry I can see that the RTX series are supported, hopefully MAx-Q as well? Can this help me increase the power limit?

    First of all.. do you know how to deal with BIOSs? Like using a programmer or flashing? If you don't know... I can't help you.

    Hi, my laptop arrives Tuesday and yes I've flashed a modded vbios before but that was a while back. 780m to allow custom voltages. I was thinking there are 2 versions of the 2070 Max-q, 80W and 90W. Mine is 80W so to keep things simple I want to try flash the 90W TDP version and give that a try. I 'll still need some special command line to use with nvflash to force it on my chip I think. So far can't find any of the new RTX Max-q vbios's anywhere yet

    I'm willing to spend some time to get some more juice outa these gpus, its the fun part for me!

    You need HW flashers since nvflash can't bypass non-signed vBIOS aka Modded vBIOS since its a risk for nvidia for people who extract max performance from Max Q.

    Good to hear that my efforts aren't wasted :D but the puresoft drivers have modified many things including .dlls to remove telemetry completely... so this makes sense that it might trigger any kind of Anti cheat engine :)

    Thanks for reporting ! :) I guess I need to post this as a warning whenever there's a new PureSoft drivers comes out :)

    I thought you could bypass the non matching device id with a command line option with nvflash.

    Like I did to flash my evga 2080 Ti to the Galax HOF 380W TDP vbios

    Try to undervolt your GPU without sacrificing performance... maybe it will help you on gaming performance (if you have this option)

    I did manage do bypass the non matching device id issue with a command line option with nvflash when I flashed my evga 2080 Ti to the Galax HOF 380W TDP vbios.

    Ok here is what they do on every driver :) I got the list from there dead website http://tweakforce.com by using http://web.archive.org/ ;)
    XG drivers are tweaked to improve image quality and stability while performance may increase or decrease slightly depending on your system specs. A few XG registry tweaks include mods to the following:

    Paletted Textures In Video Memory
    Render Quality Flags
    Target Flush Count
    Texture Clamp Behavior
    Texture LOD Bias
    Use Cached PCI Mappings
    Texture Memory Space
    Downloaded Memory Space
    Texture Precache
    UMA Fast Frame Buffering
    Main 3D rendering
    Triple Buffering
    Any more information you want to know.. ask them.. :)
    Here's what I observed comparing between official ones vs XG...
    -Less microstutters
    -Higher OC Potential (Gives me additional 50 ~ 90 MHz more OC) with the same overvolt (I use +75mv) going higher voltage gives me black screen
    -Higher FPS [Not significant-(YMMV)] (due to less stuttering I guess you feel that you are playing at higher frame rate :D)
    -Less latency per a frame (Means smoothie gameplay) ;)
