I'm pretty sure that Counterstrike Source has some modern-day mods. I remember hearing about a game modder who watches the news and creates scenarios based on what he sees there. I think it was CSS.

well, i was actually looking for something a little bit more realistic :) ... something like the Operation Flashpoint, or First to Fight.

    Thank you

I don't know if they've done anything recently, but the Novalogic Delta Force series used to attempt realism.

I haven't played anything past DFIII though, so I don't know if they're any good or not.

Is it Intel Extreme or the GMA? They are quite different and the latter supports much wider range of games.

If its the Intel Extreme you can't go wrong with Flashpoint and the Delta Force games. With the GMA you could play newer games like Marine Sharpshooter 2, Kuma War (and possibly Kuma War 2) and some others.

Kuma War 2 is a free FPS based on Iraq, and is powered by Valves source engine.

Terrorist Takedown: War in Columbia is also very good and works on low end hardware.

Vietnam FPS shooter Line of Sight Vietnam also has a pretty cool Gulf War Mod.

And don't forget the excellent Desert Combat mod for Battlefield 1942.

Project IGI and IGI 2 are also good.

Hmm....can't think of anything else right now.

Well...there's always War Rock. It's not set in Iraq or anything, but its fun, free, and will run on an Intel Extreme at low settings (I think).

If you only have Intel Extreme graphics, you can't run OFP's sequel, Armed Assault: http://www.armedassault.com

However, you might be able to run something like the XGL or FFUR mods. They make OFP a whole new game!
