    Modern Warfare - Mouse issues?

    Until just recently, Mw2 has been running without a hitch on my M15x. A few days ago, I opened MW2 to find that at the start up screen, my mouse is no registered and I cannot do anything. The only way for the cursor to come up is to open the steam inlay repeatedly (which also lags, takes about 10-20 seconds after I press my hotkey for it to open up) and wait until I can see the cursor. Also, when I'm in this "frozen" state, it seems like the game is running perfectly because I can tell that the clouds in the background are moving and the yellowish glow at the bottom is expanding and compressing. How would I fix this?

    I assume you tried basic troubleshooting such as validating the contents for MW, restart steam, disable overlay, reinstall mouse driver, etc? Scan your computer for viruses?

    I tried half of those. I'll get working on the other half.

    Yep. Done all of those. Problem still not fixed. :(
