I installed Modern Warfare 2 last Thursday and started playing the multiplayer. I hadn't played in over four or five months and when I left there were a lot of problems. I'd figured that by now all the bugs and lag issues would have been fixed but I was wrong.

How can Activision expect us to buy Black Ops when they never even allowed Modern Warfare 2 to be fixed? I know Black Ops has dedicated servers, but that's besides the point. Activision doesn't deserve my money until they fix MW2 (and be more original with new COD games).

You've been listing a lot of reasons not to buy black ops in your posts lately lol. I've noticed the MW2 multiplayer problems for a while as well. I was getting a lot of migrating to new host screens. I doubt they bothered to fix it...moved on to black ops, so far the multiplayer is much better.

I can agree that the games aren't original, but they have done something right seeing as how many copies they've sold. I don't necessarily like it, but that's how it is.

It really depends on who is the host and they're location relative to you. I've been having good luck with hosts recently, but occasionally I'm in a game where I have terrible ping. Doesn't happen too often for me.

just going to throw this out there. There are "unofficial" dedicated servers for MW2 if you want to bother looking it up yourself.

It's been laggy recently because of all the players w/ good internet going to black ops. It was perfectly fine a week ago though.

The new COD gets released and the previous one goes to hell? Not surprised, especially if the game does not support dedicated servers. Seems like the "official solution" to your problem is to buy the new game, usapatriot.
