I'm debating on a laptop atm,and ive been looking at the HP DV2 for its low price and mobility with a,well...non Intel GPU.

Now,ive seen videos of it playing CoD:W@W on youtube (tho apparently its at next to bare min settings?), and ive read that the minimum requirements for MW2 shouldnt be that much higher than the previous game.

Basically,I want a laptop thats as portable as possible, that will just play the game at decent FPS,even if its at bare minimum settings. I got a decent desktop for my primary gaming rig,but im not always on it,and just want something on the go.

I'm also looking at the Toshiba U500,which is also cheaper with the Radeon 4570. This I believe should play it at decent FPS.

I know I should get the U500 for this task, but I like that the DV2 is a little smaller. I've also been a netbook user for the past year,so I like these low powered chips. They just have crappy GPUs. The DV2 also comes out to be a little cheaper...tho not by much.

Basically,do you think the DV2 could do this?

well, if im right HP DV2 comes with ATI X1250. The ATI 4570 should run great MW2 since I run CoD4 at High settings with the GPU.

Correct me if Im wrong, but the Toshiba should be much better in "gaming" :D

I'm sure the dv2 can run MW2 smoothly on low settings, but would you really be satisfied playing a modern game with graphics settings that make it look like Counter Strike: Source? If you are, then the dv2 is a good choice, otherwise you'll likely want to get the U500. The HD4570 is really an impressive card for an ultraportable laptop and will have no problem running CoD at medium-low settings.

The dv2 can be configured with an HD 3410 which is much better than the X1250.

Should probably put this in my sig,but-

    Desktop Specs-

    Intel Q9550 2.83 Ghz OC'd @ 3.6 ghz
Under a Xigmatek 120mm Rifle Cooler
Radeon 4850 512 Meg (will be upgraded when needed)
    8 gigs of RAM
    Vista 64 bit
    500 gig HDD
all connected to a Asus P5E mobo in an Antec 900 Case

point being, im not always able to be on my computer posted above. I just want to be able to play the games at decent FPS, I dont care what it looks like.

The U500 is definitely a better buy, but it is bigger, and thicker for that matter. If I had the funds,I would get it for sure, but im trying to see what I can get for cheaper.
