    Hey Guys
bit of advice - i've recently got an alienware laptop running the following - when i'm running modern warfare 2 its like i'm playing on line with lag - i expected it to be pretty smooth, i'm running it on optimal video etc..

    alienware m15x
    4 gig ram
    quad core 1.6ghz
    geforece gtx 260m

should i be expecting better ? i'm wondering if i need to play with my graphics card a bit - wonder if its getting enough processing power ?

Have you updated your video card drivers? Visit the nvidia website and download the latest drivers to see if that makes a difference.

hi bugfuk and welcome to nbr.
as narsnail said you might need to update you drivers.
when you say mw2 is it the single campaign or the multiplayer.
due to no dedicated servers the game is hosted by the first player in the list and if they have a crap broadband speed then it affects everyone in the game.

im running 186.81 which i have found to be the best so far but have not tried the latest drivers yet.

if you have not updated graphics drivers before bost back and ill post a walkthrough later.
