    Has anyone else read about this, I don't use AV programs for my gaming laptops, but I did a manual search for the files as well as scanned my registry and found nothing. Anyone getting warnings from their AV programs? Also any pc players locked out of the MP? Haven't been able to get online since last night it just keeps loading saying it has to update my playlist.

    While I know this is a serious issue, I can't help but lol at the multiplayer situation of MW2. Especially since they ask you to open your ports, and disable the firewall for a better online experience.

    Hopefully nobody gets their Steam account jacked, so glad I skipped this game. People are saying its only a false positive though, so maybe nothing is wrong.

    verify the integrity of the game files, in the steam games list. see fi that does anything.

    I heard about this on the IW forums its pretty scary and sad

    This would of never happened if IW put more effort in the PC version and added dedicated servers like the first game instead of giving us this crappy console port. IWNET is just plain crap, people that pirated the game can actually play multiplayer and hackers that got banned by VAC can just create another steam account and play again as what i heard from the IW forums :mad:

    I'm getting more and more frustrated with IW, I love the multiplayer but there is just so many cons with the pc version......oh well..if a hacker gets through, I have kaspersky to own them.

    kinda wierd though, a few days ago in the middle of playing before I had bought kaspersky I had avira free, Avira came up when I was playing and it said it found a trojan in my temp files? I deleted it but connection to OP's topic maybe????

    OH SHI- THE TROJAN DID COME FROM THE GAME IT WAS THE SAME ONE THEY SAID THIS :

    KAspersky better work........

    what exactly will the trojan do?
