    Modern warfare 3 not utilizing gpu?

    I have a 2500k at 5 ghz and a 470gtx at 900mhz and i don't know why cod is still so laggy

    i get like 25-44 fps in game and i see the gpu is at idle clocks (405mhz) when this game is running...

    anyone know a solution?

    what a stupid console port. so buggy on pc...

    and i have the latest nvidia driver...

    Uhm,
    i guess youre onto newest drivers? As today, nvidia made available beta 285.79.
    Anyway, go into Nvidia Control Panel, (right click on desktop).
    Go into Manage 3d Settings
    Go under Power Management
    Set it to Prefer Maximum Perfomance.
    Then set Display to Single display mode.
    If that doesnt still fix it, try with a clean removal of drivers and a clean install, a guide is in my sig.
