    Modern warfare save game transfer to new computer

    I want to transfer my save game folder from Call of duty 4 Modern warfare to a different computer.

    After searching the internet and finding how to do it:

    C:\Program Files\Activision\Call Of Duty 4 - Modern Warfare\players\profile

    I copied the folder and it does not work.

    Any help please.

    are you playing through steam?

    if so go C > program files(x86) > steam > steam apps > common

    that is where all my games folders are.

    if its on disc then i have no idea, sorry.

    The game is installed from cd in the folder as recomended.
    I have tried always of copying the folder over to the other computer and it never works.
    Even downloaded a COD backup software.
    I think I will just have to start from scratch.

    Try looking at your Documents folder in Windows. Sometimes games will put your saves in a game folder in that directory rather than the game directory.
