I remember years ago there were 4-5 different groups modifying Catalyst now there is zero.

And I know for Nvidia, you can find at least 3 easily, LV2Go, NotebookForums and TweakForce.

Has anyone tried tweaking or modifying their Mobile Catalyst? Any good results?

Given that ATI distributes an official mobile-compatible catalyst there's very little reason to modify them any more. The main reason for modification was to make the normal catalysts work on mobile GPUs, and since that's no longer the case... heck, ATI even distributes an overclocking tool themselves.
