    Hello all,

Got a question for anyone who might provide some insight. I'm running a Lenovo W510, Win 8, 64-bit with an NVidia Quadro FX 880M. I'm an avid gamer and my workstation has done a great job supporting me when I play most games. Lately, however, I've been suffering from some issues when playing games such as Shogun 2 (on medium) and Dishonored (Thanks to the Steam Summer Sale...). I'm trying to figure out what's the best way to maximize performance from my little graphics card.

I've stumbled upon two options outside of keeping my Quado driver up to date (which it is):

    1. Mess around with my system to recognize my card as a GeForce card and install one of those drivers (if so, which one?). I'm very competent with computers, so I'm comfortable with this option if it's what's needed.

    2. Installing a Verde driver. The latest stable release appears to be here: NVIDIA DRIVERS 296.10WHQL But I'm concerned that the release was well over a year ago. In addition the latest beta release is also over a year ago here: NVIDIA DRIVERS 301.24BETA

So should I try and mod it to a GeForce driver, install the verde driver, or am I best off sticking with my current driver and dealing with it?

    Thanks in advance!

    I installed GT520M drivers for my NVS4200.

I also installed nTune (nvidia manager) for some simple OC.

I don't see why you shouldn't do the same. According to this, try the GT330M drivers.
