    How come does the Mini Display Port to HDMI adapter only support up to 1080p?

    I thought you could go up to 1920X1200 or even further...


    If not then I know I can also use a Dual DVI adapter, but that kind of defeats the purpose of HDMI connections... my TV only has SVIDEO and VGA(SVGA?) so I will have to cope with that for now until I get a new TV


    SVIDEO only goes up to 800X600 right?

    VGA up to 1600X1200 correct?
