    Sierra Entertainment today announced that more F.E.A.R. is on the way to PC and Xbox 360 systems. PC gamers will get F.E.A.R. Perseus Mandate, a new expansion pack for Monolith’s 2005 action thriller. The campaign features a parallel story allowing players to take the role of a different F.E.A.R. soldier, battling new enemies that the other team never saw. Meanwhile, F.E.A.R. Files for the Xbox 360 will include F.E.A.R. Extraction Point, released for the PC last year, as well as the new Perseus Mandate expansion pack. Both games will be released this fall.

    I personally can't stand first-person shooters on consoles. The controller just doesn't give me...well, the control that I like with a mouse and keyboard.

    But hey, 360 owners get to take comfort in knowing that their game is going to run just fine on their slick HD tv's. No questions asked...

    ...assuming their 360 is working anyways.

    I used to be like that until i played fear on my 360 then i was like wow even better when i went online no probs whats so ever and it runs like a dream also i see gears of war is coming to pc should be fun hope its a vista link up like shadowrun......................Fritz

    too bad its not going to start at the end of extraction point. they better continue the story, not start a new story parrelling the old one.

    I think i saw somewhere that its a new story altogether not bothered to be honest i think it will still be amazing one of my fav games that i have played in a longtime and i was like scared when i played it aswell lol......Fritz

    any tips on getting this to run smoothly on a g1s? with high settings this game runs like ass on my comp.

    turn off shadows or AA. You can keep shadows on and set AA at only 2x. Maybe the particle effects could be turned down too. You just gotta play around with the settings.
