I dont know why, but i upgrade my Gateway P-6860 Video Card (8800M GTS) drivers to the 177.79 version. I got the highest score of 6624 =[ Why is this? Can anybody help me with the problem.. Again? I had this before but since i upgraded my drivers to the newest version everything fails.

Get this straight. Newest doesn't equate to best.

Test out an array of drivers and see what's suitable for your computer.

On the 6860, the newest drivers don't increase the 3dmark scores. However, they do increase game performance. Wierd but thats what I noticed on mine and reportedly others did as well. Also, see if Powermizer or your power settings set to high performance.

I would play some games and test it out that way rather than relying on 3dmarks. Last i read, 177.4x drivers were voted the best for 6860.

dont worry about it, mine has not gone over 7k, its the CPU, my X7800 comes in tomorrow and I will see if it really makes a huge diff, i doubt it though.

Vista is also part of the problem :)
