when i tried to install 'morrowind game of the year edition', the game was put into the registry so my computer thinks it is installed, but the files are not present so I am unable to play or uninstall the game. I have only tried to put on morrowind so far, and have not yet tried to install bloodmoon or tribunal. can anyone help me with this problem.

What operating system do you have?

When you put in the CD, see if there are additional options to re-install the game. It's odd that the files were not copied to the hard disk.

It should be a simple matter of deleting the entry in the registry if that truly is the case. I will have to look for a guide for you to do that though, but let it be noted that messing with your registry is typically (well, it can be at least) pretty risky.
