Sorry if this has already been posted but this is the first I've seen or heard of this game.

IMO it looks awesome. Its built on the Unreal 3 engine so it should run beautifully. It claims to be open world, pure skill based PVP, in first person view. I play WOW everyday and I really enjoy the PVE aspect of the game. I'm about to start Hyjal and BT and even though its just a game I'm really excited in real-life. But the PVP in WOW sucks, no matter how you play your class if someone has better gear than you they are going to win almost everytime. I have all but quit PVP because I don't find it as rewarding as there is no skill involved so I'm stoked to see a game that claims its real-time skill based. Wish there was more info on this game and sadly its slated for a summer 2009 release. What do you guys think?
Edit: So excited I forgot to mention that they claim to have monsters that spawn only once and when they are brought down they never come back. This will make PVE progression very interesting and alot more competivite than WOW, imagine having loot that nobody else can ever get (this is every PVE person's wet dream lol).

Though I never was a fan of this type of games, this one surely drew my attention..mainly because of the U3 engine

I'd rather play Darkfall...which I'm hoping and praying comes out and comes out soon.

Trailer shows off some graphics but tells nothing of the game and how it will play, what can make or breat any MMORPG is the networking/server quality. Hows the lag going to be, and down time, fee's ect.
Still tho for some reason I thought the thread was about a free mortal kombat online game thats what I was hoping for ^^ I am an old fan of ultimate mortal kombat 3 or the trilogy game and would love to see an online version of it to play others. -
woot looks like " OBLIVION ONLINE"

Looks cool, but the best skill-based MMO of all time is still Planetside in my opinion. And if you think about it, any MMO is skill based, even if it is WoW style skill. Technically you are just firing a lot of very different guns that have wildly different firing speeds at the proper moment. The only thing you DON'T have to do is aim.
Also, I don't know if it was just the audiophile in me, but geez they did a TERRIBLE mic job on the singer. Sounds like she phoned in the song over Skype. And would it have killed them to add some post processing?
Right, but it looks pretty cool, hope they pull it off!
