Complex how? In what you have to accomplish... or controls... or what?

Ill leave it to you to define complex before answering my question.

(and NO, not in terms of controls LOL).

I agree. It has to be a matter of defining "complex"

In the amount of stuff you can do I would probably wager Ultima Online as the game in which there are the greatest amount of things you can do. (like paint and stuff')

Project Entropia might be considered the most "complex" in the fact that the currency used in the game has real value, and that every decision the player makes is not only based on how much time something requires, but that the player also has to take money into consideration (and yes it is also possible in EVE to buy gametime for ingame currency, but it is not the same as being able to get cash from playing a game)

EVE could be the most complex from an interactive perspective, as there are not only "guilds" (Corp's) but also alliances of corps, which work together to some degree and they can have thousands of members. (and that the average age is 27 may hint at it's complexity)

EVE is also the most complex if one takes the size of the world into account as it is run as a single silmultaneus world

As to what has the most complex controls...who knows :p

well, this is my list, looking forward to seeing what others think (Currently running EVE on the other monitor :p)

From what I have played, I'd say Eve Online. There is such a ridiculous amount of depth in that game, and it is sort of all thrown at you at once.

Games like WoW only give you access to more complex activities at higher levels.

I just started eve. One of the most frustrating things is you really don't know what direction to take your character in at the beginning. How your skills relate to what you want to do isnt very clear.

EVE online is probably the MMO with the most complex system I can think of. Pretty much everything else is simplistic, almost, in comparison.

UO probably ha d the most complex player community, though, with entire towns run and policed by players.

WoW? Complex? Which part of WoW is complex? Finding 24 people who aren't blundering, dithering halfwits to raid?

I guess you're quite right, though; depending on which server you're on, and which faction you're playing, that can indeed be quite a demanding task.

Eve Online was definitely teh most complex MMO i've ever played but there is not much to do in it so u get used to it very fast. Basically all u can do is pvp, mine, do missions, or ... duno rly much of anything else. However, with only the few things you are able to do comes many different ways to do it. Also fighting in the game is very complex and pvp in 0.0 with bubbles nd stuff is too but it's pretty boring game don't play it lol

I loved the interface in Eve. One of the few games I can think of where having a large monitor, or multiple monitors is a must. I've tried it twice in the past. Each time, I've just stopped playing after 4 - 5 days into the trial. I don't know what it is. Must be just the feeling of not knowing what to do, or where to go. Im sure if you stick with it for a few weeks, you'll get hooked!

POBS is good fun, but I don't think its anywhere near as complicated as EVE.

WOW isn't that complicated, do you think it would have that many players if it was as complicated as EVE?

I once subscribed to EVE. While EVE is a vast world with lots of options in how the game is played I wouldn't call it complex. When it comes down to it, EVE is basically a game of either you're in BoB (Band of Brothers corporation) or not in BoB. It seems the game is basically everyone versus BoB. When EVE 2 comes out I'll subscribe again.

I'd say the most complexed MMO is...well, it hasn't been made yet. Because it's too complex for the programmers! :D
