Mount & Blade is 75% off on Steam = $7.50US.
I think I might get it for that price. Never had a lot of interest, but I'm sure I could find $7.50 worth of entertainment!

Thund3rball I dont know, I'm guessing
There's even a demo! But for the cost of 2 starbucks it's hard to go wrong.
-
Two Starbucks? You must not be drinking those sissy drinks. You're lucky to get ONE for $7.50 - lol.
-
It's a good game if you like medieval combat. There isn't much story, it's totally open-ended, the goal is basically to build an army, join a faction, or make your own and take over cities/castles. The mounted horseback combat and sword fighting is some of the best out there though.
I'd highly recommend it for $7.50 if you like that type of game. The bigger battles are basically like taking part in a battle of Medieval 2

Thund3rball I dont know, I'm guessing
LOL I actually love the sissy drinks, but I order a Tall and it's only about $3 and change. -
I was waiting for M+B to drop in price a little, guess now's a great time to get it.
Thanks for the heads-up. -
Sweet, and I was about to buy the physical copy last month for $20. Only problem is my brother has the Steam account and I won't be able to play the game on my computer unless I can find a hack.
-
Or you can make a new Steam account...
-
They really want to rip us off slowly don't they?
-
Thats a hell of a deal I recommend you guys get it if you haven't already. It is very slow at first but it picks up later as you acquired new recruits to your team to build a large army. But for $7.50 is a hell of deal of a lot of gameplay and the mod support is huge for this game.
This game is probably one of the few games that I have played 6 hours+ straight in awhile. Because there is a point where you start winning victories and leveling up and soon you become powerful as Alexander the Great and there is a point where you fall like him as well lol... -
True, its a shame that both my brother and I won't be able to play it unless we each buy a copy through our accounts. Maybe I am whining too much, I was ready to pay $20 for a physical copy last month before it was sold out so why not just pay $15 for two digital copies?
-
Yes exactly. You guys must not play much games or any games together online. I can see how sharing an account saves money though.

When it comes to PC games, you might want to read reviews before paying money for a non-returnable product. -
Of course, always read reviews - duh! I almost never trust a publication review, but user reviews are much more valuable. It seems more and more that publications miss the mark compared with user reviews so much.
Also, not sure your point, however, since pretty much 99.9% of PC games are not returnable. -
I've already played the demo for quite a bit and its got me totally sold, especially at a price of $7.50. I also can't trust all reviews, sometimes its just
personal taste in if you like a game or not. I've read many good reviews of Far Cry 2 but found it completely mediocre after playing it on the 360 for only half an hour. Maybe the PC version is better.
You mean we could share a single Steam account on both of our computers and with the game files on the hard drive, we'll be perfectly fine, even if playing the same game at the same time? I don't think that is possible. -
That's what I mean, you must not play many games, or else you would be on at the same time... which you cannot do. You can only be logged onto Steam with an account in one location.

Red_Dragon Notebook Nobel Laureate
actually bro it is possible i heard one person has to play in "offline" mode and the other person has to play logged in to steam....and you both can play the same game at the same time. -
Yea but look at the user reviews:

Plus you can try the demo which is the full version and you can play the whole game until you hit level 7. -
All of the reviews that I've depended on for my PC game purchases have turned out to be right on, but I suppose it would depend.
Mount & Blade $7.50 on Steam this Weekend!
