    Hy there I spent already ~40 hours on this beautiful game: total freedom, GREAT battle dynamics (especially when riding the horse);
    I would definitely suggest it (I downloaded on steam) to anyone;
    Has anyone tried it?

    Yeah, it was fun, but about 300 game days into it later, the king still didn't promote me as the marshall and it was frustrating watching the AI not attacking the most opportune places, but it definitely has its charm

    Bought and played this game a few days ago, and I must say it's indeed a gem, the physics and mechanics involved in the combat system is really rather groundbreaking, especially for a new indie developer. The combat is really addicting as well.

    It's pretty cool. A little dated looking (ok, very much so lol), but in terms of innovation, features, and gameplay it's up with the best of them. It's always awesome to get charged by someone on a horse, and lancing them, watch the rider and the horse go flying lol.

    Ha, I shouldn't read threads like this one. I've been convincing myself that I'm going to save money; but Warband is $15 on Steam right now. I bought the original way back when it wasn't even a full release and loved it. Temptingtemptingtempting...
