I played Mount and Blade the original in SP and I thought the game was very interesting. I soon had newer games to play so I kinda let it go, but I might be interested in picking it up myself sometime in the future.

Yup im playing it. Just spent the whole day playing the game BUT you shouldn't really expect that much of the multiplayer component of the game. ALl it is just regular game modes. No ranks, unlockables or stuff. You just get some money when you enter a MP game and you customize your guy for that match. BUT THE Single PLAYER IS A BLAST like the first one :D Now there's an actual story going on and now you can be the king, marriage and stuff. Now enemies retreat when they start losing. There are bandits hideouts which you can find and then attack. You can convince lords to support you to become the king and SO MUCH MORE!!! All I have to say is that they really improved the game from the first one, but if you are looking forward to just the multiplayer component of this game, I recommend that you save up your money.

not bad i guess. not sure what type of game we were playing but who ever had the castle won every time. I sucked bad. Graphics are horrible and im not sure its worth 30 though. 15-20 seems about right.

I played the original and liked it. 30 euros for the expansion is a bit high though.

I wouldn't really say horrible :p They DID improve it from the first one and it does fit the medieval times settings :D
Oh and if anyone was wondering, go straight to Warband even if you haven't played the first one. It doesn't make a difference since there was no story line in the first game :p

where can i find this story line you speak of?

Game has been a blast. You can trashed pretty fast at the start but now i can camp in the middle of a war and not be touched. And if they dare do it, i lay waste to them. Its pretty fun catching up to the routed ones and watch them beg to let them go. :D

well its not like an actual story line. I meant that now theres a goal of the game. To be the king. In the first one, all you did was run around and level up, die, take castles but to only become the rebel and stuff.
