    Hello !

I'm looking for a good MP game to play online that doesnt have to be played for 1hr and more to have decent fun (ie : world of warcraft).

I'm into most types of games as long as the engine is fun. could be strategy, action, shooters..

I'm really interested in knowing if there are LOTS of players playing so I can easily without delay find a server/game to play with a nice communauty

thanks for sharing your opinions !
    :D

    OH OH!

Get the orange box, or just TeamFortress 2. I play for 20 mins at some times, and it's still a lot of fun.

    COD4, COD4...oh and COD4!

This is the first FP shooter I've ever played and it's as much fun now as a LvL55 as it was when I started as a noobie with a stick and stone :) Needless to say, stunning graphics and ambience! ;)

In the realm of strategy, C&C series

hihi wow thanks i guess i'll give it a try !
is it action-death-wait untill everyone's dead in either team type or more quake-like death-respawn kill as much as u can till u die again ?

are the vitals important (headshot = deadly, torso dmg> arm dmg) ?

You respawn in Deathmatches and such. There are certain game modes where you only get 1 life. And yeah, torso and head does more damage I believe... Head I know for sure, but torso I am not 100% I usually play Hardcore mode so pretty much anywhere on the body kills at 1-3 shots, head is 1-shot in HC mode.

    TF2 ftw.

Once you get into it, there's a lot of depth. Less frantic than most fps, and also more about teamwork than kill/death ratio.

I think so... vs say COD or Counterstrike where a 1/2 second stream of bullets will kill you. Obviously, it gets intense, especially when playing with good players, but overall, I think it has a slower pace than other multiplayer FPS.

I havn't played TF2 for very long but I would highly highly recommend it, it is the most fun I have had in a long time in gaming, PC and console included.

I would say get Counter Strike Source, Team Fortress 2 or Call of Duty 4.

CS:S is only $10 till 11'th August if you buy through STEAM, its a great deal too. So hurry up if you want to get it.

Dawn of War series: the fastest Strategy gameplay i ever played. Some games can be over in 5 minutes while others can last up to 1 hour. Normally 20-40 minutes.
