Hi guys I really need help,
    I have a Acer V17 nitro with a 860m
I finally received my notification to update to windows 10, which I did saturday.
after the update everything was fine, until I started gaming.
I have had multiple crashes and BSOD since.
mostly i have the "Nvidia Display driver has stopped responding and has recovered" error.
I also had "ERR_GFX_D3D_INIT" in GTA V and "Fatal Error: Direct3D An error occured in the Direct3D device" in USF4
most BSOD occurs playing SFIV, Street fighter X tekken , USF4 and then i have these messages:
    VIDEO_SCHEDULER_INTERNAL_ERROR
    VIDEO_MEMORY_MANAGEMENT_INTERNAL

Nvidia drivers are up to date, I have tried to reinstall games but it doesn't help.
I have tried to install older nvidia drivers from from the acer website but it didn't help either.
All the games ran perfectly on Windows 8.1.
I really don't know what to do, I'm thinking about going back to Windows 8.1.
Any help would be much appreciated,
    Thanks

Try reinstalling your drivers after using DDU. If you've already used DDU and still have this issue, idk what the issue is.

many thanks ! it almost solved all my problems !
    here's what I did :
last night, i removed all drivers with DDU, then installed Intel and Nvidia drivers from the acer website. result : every game runs fine.
this morning, removed those drivers with DDU and installed latest Intel and Nvidia drivers (359.00). result : "nvidia display driver not responding" error is back when playing games...
so then I left the latest Intel driver, removed Nvidia driver 359.00 with DDU and installed back Nvidia driver from Acer website ( 353.54 ). result : every game runs fine again. I have to run Street fighter games (SF4, USF4, SFxTekken ) in compatibility mode though ( win 8 works ) because there's a small bug when turning on and off V-Sync ( game kinda hangs and I have to go back to the desktop and back to the game again to make it work (or not ).
So I really think there's a problem with this 359.00 driver and windows 10, for me at last. I'm gonna try to test more recent drivers than the one I have right now, we'll see.

Glad to hear something worked. Laptops are bit weird, hell; PC gaming is a bit weird because of all the different configurations. Some things work, some don't. It's really hit or miss. Its one of the reason why I always have the most recent console system, if a game comes out or a driver that I cannot live without but it breaks, I simply shelf the laptop until its fixed and play the PS4.

I had a long response typed up but I have a Samsung so I accidentally hit the back button and lost it.

Long story short - go back to 8.1
