Not sure if this is the right forum for this, but HL2 crashed on me, and when I got back to the desktop my Win XP control panel showed multiple monitors when I only had one connected.

My nVidia control panel still only shows the one monitor connected after multiple restarts, but the XP panel still shows multiple instances.

There is also the existence of a plug and play monitor in my device manager that I've disabled and uninstalled, but it pops back up after a restart.

Any help on resolving this issue would be much appreciated. Thanks.

Hmmm. Sounds like a driver issue (I think). What Nvidia driver are you using?

    Mike.
