The Notebook Review forums were hosted by TechTarget, who shut down them down on January 31, 2022. This static read-only archive was pulled by NBR forum users between January 20 and January 31, 2022, in an effort to make sure that the valuable technical information that had been posted on the forums is preserved. For current discussions, many NBR forum users moved over to NotebookTalk.net after the shutdown.

    I never much cared for the PC version - terrible MIDI sound compared to the PS1 version totally took me out of it every time. Just couldn't stand it.

    I'd emulate it, but I have two perfectly good copies of the game (my own and one for the sibs). :cool:

    I use this patch that turns the bgmusic into the original PSX soundtrack. I agree, I wouldnt play it without it... midi is just too annoying.

    I got it working any lost interest. Not only did Supreme Commander come in the mail but I started playing Star Ocean and became addicted.
