FPS with Fraps: 15 - 25

Thanks For Sharing! Great Video... I wondered how this game would be on my laptop, which is same as yours.

 

What settings do you use for fraps XxLblinkxX ?

Fraps lowers my fps by 70-80%, makes the game unplayable and the video hard to watch with all the lag

My settings are on Default, and yes it makes harder to play. But somehow while I edit the video it doesn't really show the laggy parts I get into.

They are HD so you may need to start the feed then pause it and let it preload a while depending on your internet speed and how fast youtube is running.

Actually it´s kind of bad quality since I used the Nokia N95 camera. But Fraps is just too demanding. Not fun to watch a game video where it lags due to fraps running in the background.

 

All my full hd clips on the first page are fraps recorded.

Yeah it was hard for me to steer on the keyboard on grid

 

Yeah grid with a keyboard is like impossible, even when I tried it with a controller it was still kinda hard. That game has a learning curve for sure.

 

Yea took me three uninstalls to get used to it, after that it was extremely fun though

Ok i had some time to try out the big dog next to GTAIV, Crysis suprising enough it ran the game at medium settings but you push the settings to high if you want and its still playable

Possibly a noob question.... are you guys saying that fraps slows you down just when you are using the recording feature.. or just having it running at all?

 

When I am recording fraps slow down the framerate of my games unless I lower the resolution, but when its running to take screenshots its fine.

 

screenshots and framerate are fine, the only thing ive noticed causing a drop is the video recording, in which case it makes it seem like its taking your graphics card and bashing it with a hammer

 

You can still run that with a Sin primary, or just use mist form instead.

Also I highly doubt you invented the SF Sliver build. But if you did thanks

 

Actually its not that bad since it has diferent types of new races, but I think the gameplay is the same since Underground 2 lol anyways, i think its worth it playing at High/Max Settings

 

I gotta buy this GAME!!!!!!
