After Playing Call of duty 2 my TEMP is 116F on Everest. why is Graphics card temps so hot. my CPUs are @ 70F only. hard drive 93F.
-
116F is only ~47c which isnt overheating for the GPU
-
on hot days it gets up to 54C after intense gaming
-
first of all...what graphics card do you have? different cards run at different temperatures
-
I would get a cooling pad, you may fry the graphics card, or gpu if it goes to high
-
my Go 7900GS used to go up to 90C, you're fine. quit whining...
-
As long as you're constantly below 80C, you're fine. However, if you want a cooler running system, check out Chad's notebook cooling guide
-
**Thank You**
-
It would help fi you can tell what GFX card you have... they all run at different speeds and high end GPU's are always hotter than CPU's...
-
Oh my gosh...your card runs like ICE. MY GPU hits like 180 degrees Fahrenheit under load. Don't you dare call 113 overheating!
-
I actually want to know what card can run Call of Duty 2 and at a temp of ~47C
-
LOL yeah. 47C is really really cool. i barely got those temps in my old desktop GPU. oh yeah X800 pro baby. going old school. but it idled about 35-40c and got up to 55 under intense load. i wouldnt worry too much.

My X1400 used to burn my legs through a blanket and a pajama, your case really isn't that bad.
-
Sorry for the mistake. after playing call of duty 2 the temp is 54C but after a minitue its goes down to 46C again.
(i rechecked the temps because it didnt seem right.) -

Its better if you use Celsius rather than Fahrenheit because it is better know and understood for checking hardware temps.
Your GPU temp is fine.
