    My overheating Graphics card

    After Playing Call of duty 2 my TEMP is 116F on Everest. why is Graphics card temps so hot. my CPUs are @ 70F only. hard drive 93F.

    116F is only ~47c which isnt overheating for the GPU

    on hot days it gets up to 54C after intense gaming

    first of all...what graphics card do you have? different cards run at different temperatures

    I would get a cooling pad, you may fry the graphics card, or gpu if it goes to high

    my Go 7900GS used to go up to 90C, you're fine. quit whining...

    It would help fi you can tell what GFX card you have... they all run at different speeds and high end GPU's are always hotter than CPU's...

    Oh my gosh...your card runs like ICE. MY GPU hits like 180 degrees Fahrenheit under load. Don't you dare call 113 overheating!

    LOL yeah. 47C is really really cool. i barely got those temps in my old desktop GPU. oh yeah X800 pro baby. going old school. but it idled about 35-40c and got up to 55 under intense load. i wouldnt worry too much.

    My X1400 used to burn my legs through a blanket and a pajama, your case really isn't that bad.

    Sorry for the mistake. after playing call of duty 2 the temp is 54C but after a minitue its goes down to 46C again.

    (i rechecked the temps because it didnt seem right.)

    Its better if you use Celsius rather than Fahrenheit because it is better know and understood for checking hardware temps.

    Your GPU temp is fine.
