    Hi all,
    Attempted to play Diablo III today on my lappy, and the lag is ridiculous.

    I am thinking it is my lappy/graphics card, but I only bought this at the end of 2010 so it's not even 2 years old yet :S

    Model: Asus N35Jl
    OS: Windows 7 Home Premium 64-bit
    Processor: Core i5 M460
    RAM: 4096MB
    Graphics: Intel(R) HD internal PLUS NVIDIA Ge Force GT425M
    VRAM: 2GB

    I did check the reqs for the game, and the GT425M is neither on the supported or unsupported list. I have everything set to low in game, nothing unecessary running in the background (that I can tell), and I already have selective startup.

    Any thoughts would be great.. I bought this laptop under the advice that it should be able to handle games, esp WoW and LoL at the time, which it does without a problem.

    Cheers =)

    You have to make sure the gt 425m is enabled. gt 425m is a good card for 720p gaming on high. intel hd will play games on low and lag.

    Anyway I am not sure on how to enable dedicated graphics card, maybe go on nvidia control panel to select dedicated graphics card for games or put it on high performance mode on power options.

    Cheers.. I didn't realise that, I thought Optimus meant it automatically switched to dedicated when it recognised the need, but I did put it so that Diablo preferentially uses it, and still not better. Drivers are up to date also.
