I was excited about the new feature called "signature jumpshots". But I didn't seem to notice it. There was no difference between regular and supertar players with the way they shoot the ball. Is this feature only for Playstaion and Xbox 360? Or do you have to unlock it or something??
    Anybody have an idea?

So are you saying that if I use a gamepad, the signature jumpshots will activate? It doesn't make much sense. I saw a demo of the signature jumpshots last year just before the game was about to be released. And I was very impressed of how well they had managed to immitate the superstars' jumpshots. Unfortunately, when I played mine, it wasn't at all the same with what I saw in the demo. But I don't think it's because of my keyboard. Making a jumpshot takes only one button to press. What could be different between the keyboard and the gamepad regarding that.

I think that require more that just one button to activate...
Anyway,it's generaly easier to play NBA with gamepad,if you are not an octopus or you haven't got 20-30 fingers,of course :)

Was that post absolutely necessary? He did not ask for anyone to tell him the game sucked or to recommend another game.

the nba live series from ea sport rly sucks now. thats why i stopped buying them long time ago. they make them way too unrealistic and just plain stupid. thats why i got nba 2k7 for xbox 360 and it is rly rly great. so if you have any console, get nba 2k7 and start buying the 2k series cause they actually have signature shots, and they are waaaay more realistic and better than the nba lives

Actually I'm not really into gaming consoles. I prefer to play on my laptop. I'll try to buy a gamepad and see if there's a difference.
Those who suggested the nba 2k7, I'll give it a try.
    Thanx.

From some reviews off of Amazon.com, many reviewers gave NBA LIVE'07 a very poor score based on horrible game play and the game being plagued with bugs. I personally enjoy playing NBALive'06 and downloading some mods that update rosters and player stats. It's a great way to stay on top of the current season with all the current players without having to go out and purchase a new game.

I see. I've been with the NBAlive series since 2003 that I haven't had the time to consider other NBA games. I would definitely do a research on this. And try other NBA versions as well. Thanks for all the new ideas.
