NBR AoE2 Game this week end

in another thread we are trying to organise an aoe2 conquerers game this w.e and want to know if anyone else is interested. i will update this post with players and dates/times.

I might be able to play, but it'd have to be Friday night (busy at a tradeshow on Sat & Sun) if anything.

And... like James said, how will we be playing it?

I haven't played it in EVER, so I have no idea regarding it anymore .

Does MSN Zone still host game rooms for it? Or do we have to use some third party apps to play it online now?

EDIT: I just took a look at Zone.com, and looks like they've retired CD-rom based games (i.e.: the AoE series). I guess we'll be using Gamespy, then?

i played last night 3v3 and it took about 40 minutes. but mainly because one member of the other team sucked.

i would say i am above average. but there were 2 people playing that were definately better than me.

 

someone host. someone kind of central. and the rest connect directly via IP.

haha, at the moment i am doing some boolean algebra but i am a trainee electrical engineer working for the high voltage electicy distributer. i am in protection design but its government owned and pretty casual.

@ Jeff, I will be available from 12AM PST tonight, which is 3AM eastern, or 8AM GMT time.

I think it would be the best if everyone posts GMT time when they would be availlable to play that way we are on the same track.

my ip address is 122.105.139.103. just go into the gmae, go to direct play over internet IP/TCP and click show games and type in my ip address.

 

its getting too late now. and i have to go to work in an hour, so lets make it another time.
