gang I really need your help.
it seems intel's later "Core" series Driver sets, i.e. for windows 8 x64 bit for windows 7 x64... exempt the pre Sandy Bridge "Arrandale" family. found this out first the rude way, by trying to load drivers and get Fail. Read the notes on the releases and sure enough, they specify Sandy/Ivy but not the prior generation. [For the record, Annandale i5 is not referred to as "1st Generation"... Sandy is]

Can someone tell me how/where to get the last good driver made for this device? trying to do full reinstall and the older drivers circa 2010 have a HDCP sync bugginess that will defeat most of the HDTV and High Def external Monitors via HDMI.
I got this solved with one of the little ULV im101z Dell units but now that driver was a little easier to find.

thanks for your direction and help:thumbsup:
