    Hi NBR.

My friend has recently bought a Dell Inspiron N5520.
It is equipped with an AMD Radeon HD 7670M, he installed the default drivers.

I have zero experience with AMD switchable graphics technology, but I tried to set ConfigTool and NFS11.exe as High performance but still, the ConfigTool only detects the Intel HD 4000.

The laptop is plugged in and I set the power plan to high performance , I tried disabling powerplay, I tried to open a graphics intensive application along with the config tool, but still it won't detect it.

I tried updating the drivers from AMD but it won't detect the graphics card, only Dell drivers work.

Set to switchable in the bios then you can decide which card to work.

There is no such option in the BIOS. I think it's already switchable.
