Is it fixed? Read on a gaming blog that EA/Criterion released two patches past two months that improved FPS, lag and latency. Is this true? I'd be interested to buy it if they fixed it.

I have no problem playing it on my laptop with 7970M. Guess they fixed it?

I didn't see any difference a a few weeks ago, so I don't think that fixed anything....I'm a huge Need for Speed and Burnout-Fan so I should have loved this game. Well, it's letdown for me, because the controls and the performance are just unplayable.

Tried to play the game on my sisters Xbox 360 but first impressions was basically Burnout Paradise City 2, just with wierd driving physics.
Shame really since i thought Paradise City was awesome and i got it on the PC & PS3.
The game also had performance issues in effect heavy scenes or wet roads.

Much prefer Forza Motorsport or the more arcade like Midnight Club L.A. but both are console only. :(
