    Hey guys,
I am currently running a Sager M860tu laptop with 2.5GHZ processor, 4GB ram, 9800GT GPU and it runs all the games I throw at it pretty much maxed. Could not be happier with its gaming performance exept for one problem that Im hoping you will help me solve.
The other day I installed Need for Speed Pro Street. Its a ripped version of the game that I got as an ISO and ran through DaemonTools. The game starts fine and I got to the second event day and then all of a sudden the game crashed and stopped working. I can go back into the game and it will play for a little while and then crash again.
Has anyone else had this problem? Does anyone know how I can fix it?

I suppose I should mention also that I am running Windows Vista sixty-four bit. Maybe thats the problem... stupid 64...

    Thanks,

Thanks for the prompt reply Xirurg,
This is something that I also dont know much about. I have not felt the need to mess with my drivers yet since i never had a problem with them. I dont even know the version that is on here or what version we're up to for the 9800Gt.
What I dont understand is why the game runs for a while and then just decides to crash after a while.... Why would the drivers be okay for 20 minutes and then crap out?

You really shouldn't be requesting help for a pirated game. You never really know what those could have, and assuming it's not virus infested, then it's probebly related to an issue in whatever kind of crack they or you used to get the game to run without a CD.

Sorry I think I have been unclear. I bought the game on a CD and got it to run off my HD by ripping it to an iso. I do that for all my games cause it makes less noise and shortens load times.

Legit copy or not, most software devs have piracy routines built in that make the game run poorly if they think you stole it. Regardless of the motive, they can't tell that you bought it. Assassin's Creed was a notable example.

Just use the CD. And patch it too.
