I used to play this game on my XPS at max settings, and it was ok, except for some minor FPS loss in some parts.

If I install it on my M15x, would I see an improvement compared to how it was on the XPS?

Besides the FPS gain, will the graphics improve, or a maxed out game is the same in any computer?

I hope you understand what I mean. Thanks.

The only issue would be the game being stretched out as it doesn't support 16:9 (unless you modify the application launch or download a plug-in to allow for widescreen gameplay). Aside from that, there wouldn't be anything different graphics wise if you're able to max it out on your XPS system (M15x can max it out too).

Modders already have the Widescreen Hack and other car hacks(been out for years). Just Google NFSMW Widescreen.

yes, I'm familiar with modifying .exe's to enable native res.

I was just wondering if any new graphica settings will show up due to the better GPU.

Like in GTA, (I think) night shadows were not an option in my old GPU, but it appears with the GBGM.

unlikely. perhaps some old games implemented that system but most modern games just give you all graphic options and let you choose what´s best for your rig.

it will look the same if you have the same settings. just different frame rate. plus some slight differences between ati and nvidia, which is impossible to see unless your looking at enlarged screenshots.
