How can i force NVDIA system tools too keep Overclock everytime i start up? If i'm not using AC power , the overclock goes away... Is there anyway to keep the overclock even without AC power?

Use the powermiser switch software to turn off or change the power saving settings, then when you close the nvidia control panel after changing the card clocks, it will ask you if you want to apply these settings at startup, click yes.

Sure.. This thread contains the powermizer switch software. It's a self contained exe, but when you run it, make sure to right click, and select "Run As Administrator". If you don't it won't have the permissions to change the settings. Now with the NVIDIA system tools. Go in and change your clocks how you want them, and then when you press the close button, it will ask you if you want to apply these settings at startup, click yes. And if you're using NVIDIA system tools, then I wouldn't use RivaTuner. It's kinda, one or the other. If you'd rather use RivaTuner, then don't use the NVIDIA system tools, because they will conflict with each other.

I do that but here's the problem... when i start again without AC power , the clocks reset back to factory... if i start on AC power , the Overclock stays.... Now how what i was asking is how do i force the clocks to stay even when i use battery power? can i use task scheduler to force the clocks to stay?

Interesting. I can't say mine does that. Have you tried different driver versions in addition to the powermizer switch and system tools? Check your clocks after a reboot with GPU-z and see if the 3d clocks are still there. Sometimes the overclocks for 3d will still be there but powermizer will still downclock on a 2d desktop. If they are then you have a simple matter of disabling powermizer.

first turn off powermizer for battery, you dont need to turn it off for AC to keep overclock on startup. make your oc profile. then go to profile policies and choose load this profile, and in the window below choose "the system first starts windows" and save and make sure its checked. should work. also make sure youre using system tools 6.03 or 6.05, because on my laptop, 6.02 profile policies doesnt work.

I've found 6.02 is the only one that works on my Sony, what card are you using?

9500m gs.... overclocking works with 6.02, but profile policies does not. 6.03 and 6.05 works fine, but i avoid 6.05 because i always have problems uninstalling it on win 7 64bit.... do you mean 6.02 is the only one that allows you to set profile policies or also to overclock?

Forceware 18X.XX does not allow OCing in Battery Mode.
I tried to turn off PowerMizer on both AC/Battery. All fail.
Forceware 19X.XX(195.62) allows OCing in Battery Mode. :)
