Which is the best deal ?
Please compare in terms of the following :

1 . Which Graphic card is better in terms of handling games at high settings?
    2. Which LCD screen is better in display ( HP or DELL ) ?

In my opinion Nvidia has Optimus , thus switchable graphics so better battery , but ATI has nothing like that...
    But ATI is GDDR5 ..
Still I've heard NVIDIA are better ....

Which is the best deal ???

    1. The 6770m hands down... a 525m is only basic card while a 6770m is a mid range gaming card
    2. Hard to say

Nvidia is not better per say. Just more widely known. Nvidia and AMD have been neck and Neck for the last 3 generations

Dell's RGBLED FULL HD was one (if not the) most beautiful laptop screen when it came out. I'd look at it. I have the standard 1600x900 one on my job XPS 16 and it's kinda good.

Specwise, the 525M GT is similar to the 9800M GT, the 6770 wins

AMD driver support is very good imo. There have been some problems a while ago if I remember correctly, but Nvidia has had some driver crashing problems as well.
You can find modded AMD drivers too, for example here.

Lately, AMD has been stepping up in the driver game. The post-11.4 drivers are simply gorgeous. They gave AMD users a HUGE boost! In 3DM11, it gave me a boost of 90 points compared to older ones!

there is currently talk that the same panel of the xps 15 (the FHD version) is the one that HP is putting in the dv6 now.

the 6770m is going to eat that poor rebrand for breakfast spit in its face for lunch and use it as a toilet paper for dinner. There is quite a difference between them.

So grab the dv6, for now, its a much better buy

Why is it like NVIDIA graphic cards are only available on certain brand laptops only ?
While majority ( like Sony , Hp , Lenovo etc ) use ATI ....

Is it b'coz ATI are cheap ??
n why is NVIDIA not using GDDR5 ??

    Nvidia 460m and up are GDDR5. 555m even has a GDDR5 version.

It's because AMD is faster in the power/performance race right now, and it's all with business contracts. AMD's salespeople are just doing a better job than Nvidia's ;)

As for why Nvidia isn't using GDDR5, it depends on the chip. For the 525, it's a cheap, low-performance GPU, so to lower costs further so that the people shopping for bargain laptops will want to buy it, they use DDR3/GDDR3. For the higher-grade chips, they use GDDR5 in general as smokinokie said.

So that means Radeon 6770 HD is better than Nvidia 525 m ?

How about 6770 HD vs Nvidia 555m (in Dell XPS 17 )??

the results are mixed but if the 555m isn't gddr 5 than the 6770 hd still beats it.

not sure what the result is when they're both are using gddr 5 memory

The GT 555M 192-bit version is pretty much even with the 6770M (I consider a difference which is below 10% to be negligible).

The 6770M and GT 555M will beat the 525M by at least 50%.

The 555M's GDDR 5 version is horrifically cripped on the GPU Core side with 4 ROP and 96 Shaders over the GDDR 3 version with 16-24 ROP's and 144 Shaders.

I'd really like to see the two benched against each other.

The one on the right, 192-bit version.

Actually, the old 9800M GT is considered much better, in fact it is ranked an entire tier above the 525M
    NVIDIA GeForce GT 525M - Notebookcheck.net Tech

The entry level DX11 cards that can deliver decent framerates for most games at 1920x1080 are the 1GB NVIDIA 460M and the 1GB AMD Mobility 5830.

Your best bet is if you can find a laptop with a DX11 GPU in that range or better. Most of the video cards listed around the bottom of the 1st tier or the top of the 2nd tier in the notebookcheck ranking are pretty decent.
