    I'm using the GTX460M and I'm on 301.42 driver. It's crashed a number of times recently, but has always successfully recovered. Anyone else having these issues or have found a fix?

    They have been crashing for many Fermi users desktops and laptops alike. It is got to do with something with being unified with Kepler... I have been getting them a bit on my desktop.

    Hi. I'd you do an auto update or the manual safemode clean with these latest drivers. Heard a few reports that after safemoad clean the crashing stopped.
    But like others it affects everyone differentl even thought they have the same cardsd

    What's a manual safemode clean? You mean booting into safemode, and then using CCleaner to remove the drivers?

    I'd do that but if I have no video drivers, how is anything going to appear on my screen?

    use driver sweep instead of ccleaner

    windows will use its driver library to install a basic display driver, it will run at 800*600, its terrible but you can at least see the screen

    [troll] Nah drivers issue with nvidia? impossible![/troll]

    Thanks, both of you :)

    I'll do it once I contact my reseller to make sure it's ok.

    I was having drivers crashes as well with the new ones until I did the clean install (Kings guide) and it appears I haven't had a crash yet...*knocks on wood* but tbh, it needs more testing.

    there is a walkthrough in my signature below. you dont need to contact reseller as updating a graphics driver is part of owning a computer. clevo's are user upgradable.
    any troubles just holler.

    edit:
    using kingpinzero guide above uses a modded inf which i know nothing about as i dont use mods.
    my link below uses the official drivers from nvidia

    the choice is entirely upto you.

    I skipped that part ;P

    Uninstall --> Safemode/Sweep --> Install
