I am running windows 7 64 bit I just bought a new HP Computer

    Model #: e9280t
    Product #: AW020AV-ABA
    Serial #: MXV95100M4
    Software Build #: 94NAv6PcA5
    Service ID #: 121-809
    PCBRAND: Pavilion

    GeForce GTX 260

All of a sudden yesterday I keep getting a graphic card flash the screen goes black then comes back on does this multiple times then finally BSOD

I am also using an HP Monitor w2338h

What could be causing this issue? HP told me to download a monitor driver that helps with windows 7 but that did nothing.

    Any help would be appreciated.

Yeah, he might be better suited if anyone ever posted there. :p

At the risk of posting before the inevitable lock of this thread, I'll try to help.

That sounds more like a graphics card driver issue than anything else. Remove your current driver (you might wanna use a utility like Driver Sweeper, although I never have) and install the latest one from nVidia.com.

Also, according to a spec sheet I found, the e9280t only uses a 460W power supply. While it may be sufficient, it seems like it might be pushing it. Your GTX 260 (especially paired with a Core i7) might be drawing more power than that PSU can keep up with. If you can, I recommend trying a 600W PSU or so. Even my two year old desktop with a Pentium Dual Core and 8800GT uses a 550W supply.
