Well just about to run benchmarks so i hope you have said popcorn.

Using my Custom Curve and +450 offset profile making vram hit 4455mhz which X2 is 8910mhz so a nice OC on the RAM with Max fans on.

Edit: Dirty run with the above settings @ 125% (100w) Power on a GTX 1060 MXM RESULT (FireStrike)

    Edit 2: Manual Tune Dirty 125% (100w) Power Core @ +95 Memory @ +450 offset RESULT (FireStrike)

Edit 3: Doing 125% Manual Dirty +105 on core +450 on vram. RESULT (FireStrike)

Edit 4: Doing 125% Power Manual Dirty +120 Core +450 vram. RESULT (FireStrike)

Edit 5: 125% Back to curve with +600 (9216mhz effective) vram. Just for the giggles. Last one RESULT (FireStrike)

Sorry ran out of popcorn. However there is only one person with scores that's valid above me so technically i should be 3rd however 1st and 2nd had a GTX 1080Ti running the benckhmark.

You'll ned more than one bucket with popcorn. The never ending mess won't stop :D Learn how to make it home yourself.

And the gamer kids follow Nvidia as hands in gloves. Maybe jump ship and try out AMD and see ig the grass is greener on the other side of the fence? :p

I think I will pass. I don't use Hotfix drivers. UL/Futuremark usually flags them as unapproved and invalidates benchmarks run with Hotfix drivers, so they are of no use to me even if they work well. Better to wait for the real deal or just keep using one that works well. No need for upgrading if it works correctly... waste of time.

Yeah the only reason I'd pick this up is if you are getting hit by that Chrome TDR bug on Ampere.

It's good they get fixes out to people without users having to wait for the next full release (cough patch tuesday cough)

Yeah, I wasn't even aware of that since I haven't experienced it and don't read up on issues others are having most of the time. I agree that it's good that they try to fix something quickly. Good point, bro. NVIDIA is usually (not always) good about that when it affects enough people. I usually just downgrade to an earlier driver that didn't have issues, unless there isn't an older one to downgrade to.

I'll pass for now still using 461.09 WHQL as 461.40 WHQL was giving me issues even at stock. Went back to 461.09 WHQL and boom works fine and been busy to game so just been mining lol!

You seem to have this weird affair with pointing out the transparently reported by the developer issues with software and almost relishing over it like it's some proof of incompetence. They exist in all software. The complexity level of these drivers are off the charts. The chance there's no defects is zero.
