    Please note that this driver has support for the upcoming GeForce 300M series (see below for product support).

    Ten days following the release of versions 186.81 and 186.82, version 186.91 for Windows Vista and Windows 7 is now available. They originate from Microsoft Update and are compatible with just about every notebook GPU from the GeForce 6 generation onwards due to the NV_WHQL.inf file in the packages, regardless of OEM. In case you're wondering, these drivers also contain support for all currently supported desktop GeForce and Quadro GPUs as well. Obviously, these drivers are WHQL Certified. This driver does NOT come with PhysX and 3D Vision installers.

    Whew im getting overloaded with all these driver releases, thanks for the links, ill probably stick with the 186.81 drivers for a while, but its nice to know nVidia are really supporting the mobile comminity...thats what makes the difference between them and ATI for me.

    Yea, 186.81 was already bad, but you at least don't need to worry :) with score above 9K you can run everything smoothly anyway...no matter what driver... :)

    Hmmm damn, well I get ~4750 pts on my 9650m GT 1 GB ( DDR2 ) and can run games quite nicely - well with max AAx2 no more hehe, in shooters I have to turn AA off because every frame counts...and mouse lag really is annoying
    Company of Heroes : Gold Edition run great however :D and that is what counts or me now, Diablo III will run nicely too...I hope :rolleyes:

    I updated my laptop with this driver and I have had some problems ever since! now when I start the laptop it will not load windows and I get a screen that looks like the pic attached, the only way I can get the comp to boot up is in safe mode then I unistall the nvidia driver and reboot using standard vga driver, when I install another nvidia driver the same thing happens :( can anyone help!!

    Download Driver Sweeper, reboot in Safe Mode, uninstall the Nividia driver (telling Windows to delete all files if it asks), then run Driver Sweeper and tell it to delete all files associated with the Nvidia GPU. After that, reboot the computer and install whatever driver you were using before you tried this one.

    IMHO, unless there's a huge improvement elsewhere, it's best to use the drivers on Nvidia's page.

    I got a powermizer bug in the 186.82, some others also experienced the same issue where their GPU would no longer downclock itself after gaming resulting in a hotter idle temp. I wonder if they fixed it in this one.

    I might try these drivers out in the future, I will stick to 186.81 for now since I am doing lots of benchs with it.

    unistalled the drivers and ran driver sweeper, then installed a different driver but still get alot of artifacts if windows boots up at all

    I downloaded it(186.91) and tested it already.
    Its performance is same as 186.42, 186.82 and DOX 185.85 for me. Take notes: Driver that is bad for you is not 100% bad for the other. Vice Versa.
    But I don't like it because I see a lot of users said/tested this driver is not stable and lower FPS. So, I guess it is not good. A good/stable driver should have majority praising. For example, 186.42 and 186.82 as well as Dox 185.85.
    Nvidia Geforce 186.81 WHQL(from nvidia website) is a nightmare for me. Its performance sucks for my machine.
    I rolled back to 186.82 now. Happy with it.
