    Vulkan beta/dev drivers are based on older branches for stability reasons. This one is older than 417.21 and 417.22.

    That would explain why people who had performance problems with 417.21-.22 are not reporting any with .23.

    The latest driver (417.22) seems to be causing a lot of performance issues with some Optimus laptops.

    I use them very often because gaming and compute are higher with these development driver than consumers and has most issues fixed.
